Every now and again I write a poem. No, let me be accurate about this - what I write is verse which occasionally aspires to be poetry but generally contents itself with being doggerel. It's a family trait, and I shall probably post poems by other family members from time to time.
I hope that, if you stumble upon this blog, you will stay a while and be amused by what you read.
After that last discussion, I thought that I would put in one that is doggerel by anybody's standards and by any definition with its tortured rhymes ...
